Noah Michael Day
So for all you blog followers I'm sorry that I'm not very good at posting new messages. From here on out I'll try and do better! Noah Michael Day is here. He was born on Feb 3, 2009 at 9:46pm. He was 7lbs 8oz and 19 3/4" long. After an interesting labor, the delivery was actually quite easy. The Dr asked me to do a test push and then told me to wait because she needed to get all set up. I guess she didn't believe me when I said it was REALLY TIME TO PUSH!!!
Haley was in the room and when I looked up at her, tears were rolling down her cheeks and she had a huge smile on her face. Noah was crying and Grandma told her to go and talk to him and he calmed right down! He really responds to Haley, Grandma and Grandpa.
Noah is such a good baby and has an amazing big sister. Haley is a pro already. She even changed a diaper, all by herself! She has really adapted well to the big sister title and she wears it proudly.
For those of you that don't know, last week I ended up making a trip to the hospital. I was there from Weds until Sunday fighting an infection and the Dr's weren't sure of it's origin. When I was discharged they said that it was Mastitus, a breast infection. I'm still on antibiotics, but I'm feeling much better. Don't ever want to do that again though.
At 3 weeks of age Noah started turning from his tummy to his back and if I can figure out upload the video from my camera y'all will get to see it too!! I just weighed him and as of today at 3 weeks and 3 days he weighs 10.6 lbs and is a little over 22 inches long. He really likes to eat! I'll try and update pictures often.
